Trader Joe’s Tuesday: 10 Favorites

Let me just start off my saying I have more than 10 favorites at TJ’s.  I don’t even know if these are my top 10 , but I still wanted to share with you some of my favorite items.  There are tons of lists like this out there, but it’s always fun to see what other people love at this magical place.  I make a trip there bi-weekly and there are some staples that I almost always have.

Trader Joes 10 Favs Part 1

Vanilla Bean Non-Fat Greek Yogurt ($.99)

Rich, sweet and loaded with pieces of actual vanilla bean.  The best Greek yogurt out there!

White Bean and Basil Hummus ($2.99)

No, there are no chickpeas or tahini in this “hummus,” but it is full of flavor and great for dipping

Aria Women’s Protein Powder ($9.99)

Some protein powders make smoothies taste like chalk, not this one! The vanilla flavor actually adds to my smoothies.

  • 80 calories/serving
  • 14g protein/serving
  • Excellent source of folic acid (100% DV) & calcium (28% DV)/serving
  • 50/50 Whey & Soy blend
  • All-Natural

Cold Brew Coffee ($7.99)

Go-to for quick iced coffee on the go.  Check out my past blog post for a cold brew cashew coffee

Rosemary Marcona Almonds ($4.49)

The crispy rosemary and sea salt make these a favorite.  Eat them as a snack or add them to your charcuterie board.

Unexpected Cheddar ($3.99)

Cheese can be overwhelming with all of the choices.  This simple, but tasty cheddar is yummy and simple for entertaining and a good cheese to have on hand for omelettes etc.

Pita Bite Crackers ($2.69)

These are a great item to have stocked at home.  You never know when an impromptu picnic or wine night will pop up.  Goes perfect with cheese and dips.

Partially Popped Popcorn ($2.49)

As a popcorn addict, I couldn’t wait to try these!  I don’t know how they get them this way but they are delicious!

Frozen Mango Chunks ($2.49)

I love the affordability of frozen fruits here.  Mango is my favorite because it makes your smoothie the perfect consistency.  Also like to drop in water in place of ice cubes…or just chew on them for dessert.  No really. Do it.

Coconut Oil Spray ($2.99)

This stuff is a great deal and easy to keep handy for cooking.  You can also spray on food directly to add a little flavor.

Stay tuned for more TJs favs.
