I bought my spider plant for above the sink in my kitchen over two years ago and it is still surviving. I don’t take the best care of it but it is extremely resilient! Lately it has been sprouting a TON of “babies” of the sides, so I decided to cut them off and place them in some water.
Now I had done this before, but I forgot to keep adding water so they kind of shriveled up (horrible plant mother!) So I thought I would give it another go. I just clipped them off, and put the root into the water. They are kind of sitting in the water a little deeper than I would like, so we will see how they turn out! I think I will plant in some soil once they get a little bigger.
Will update status of them!
**Spider baby update! A few of them died but I actually planted a couple and added them to my deck garden!
