‘Tis the season for soup! ….well, not so much here in San Diego considering it was 90 degrees out yesterday, but still. I have never made a soup in my life. It kind of intimidated me so I avoided it. Since I am trying to eat healthier, I thought my mom’s ground turkey soup would be a great first for me. It is filled with veggies and ground turkey meat, and is light but filling. I have uploaded a picture I took of her original recipe card that she sent me in the cookbook she gave me for my birthday (instead of typing it out). Let me know what you think!
(I left out the barley and added zucchini because I was trying to cut out carbs)
