So I was trying to come up with a Sunday dinner meal to make. I wanted to do something pretty easy but tasty. I had the urge to go back to my favorite “healthy chicken nuggets,” but use chicken breast instead of pieces, but I decided to try something a little different. I also found this recipe on Pinterest and since I am obsessed with chicken, I thought I would try it out.
Honestly, this was good and Nick enjoyed it but I like the recipe with the panko crumbs better. The Good Seasons was a little salty for me (even though I LOVE salt!) Let me know what you think though!
Definitely an easy weeknight meal; I served with roasted garlic brussels sprouts but could be paired with anything!
Ingredients:
½ cup parm cheese
One packet Good Seasons Italian
About 1 pound chicken breast
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix cheese, salad dressing mix and garlic powder. Moisten chicken with water; coat with cheese mixture. Place in shallow baking dish. Bake 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. (170 degrees Fahrenheit).
